Welcome to the events page. It will be worth keeping an eye on this page over the next few months for what's happening around the Poole and surrounding areas. This includes Railtour's, Weekend Engineering work, Special workings (if I get advance info in time), Model railway shows, Open days etc etc.

PLEASE NOTE:- Some of this information , particularly railtour's is sent to me with just dates and destinations in them. Most of the time I am not privy to timings or what other Loco's (regarding engineering works) will be present. From time to time I will get advance warning of what is working but sometimes its too late to post. For up to date information particularly regarding Railtours and engineering work please visit and subscribe to WRGEN and or Wessex Railgen. You can contact me at the following address to send info on events you think could be of interest to the other visitors to this page. Please note the events I am really interested in highlighting are ones that apply to the Waterloo - Weymouth line. Also tours that originate or terminate or pass through area of the line. Also of note is that sometimes things don't go to plan. Some event may or may not happen. If I get to know about it in time I will try and update them on this site.
