Recently released from refurbishment 2413 is the only SWT 442 in its SWT livery with no SWT Branding. It was also until recently one of three Wessex Units not to be named during its use with Network South East and Southwest Trains. This shot was dated November 18th 2006. 2413 went into storage on February 2nd 2007.



2414 sits at the top of platform 1 at Bournemouth with a now defunct Connex Slamdoor for company, whilst waiting the green light for its service to London Waterloo. 2414 went into storage at Eastleigh on January 24th 2007.



2414 is the second of the three units not to be named. Its seen here skirting the shores of Poole Park/Harbour with a service from Waterloo on July 3rd 2006.This unit came back from Ilford in unbranded White and grey livery like 2421.Its currently coupled together at Eastleigh in storage with 2421.



2415 Mary Rose runs into platform 1 at Poole with a Waterloo bound service on March 20th 2006.



End details of 2415 Mary Rose minus its jumper cable covers. This unit went into storage at Eastleigh on February 2nd 2007.



2416 Mum in a Million 1997 - Doreen Scanlon at the time on its final journey from Poole - Bournemouth before being taken off lease due to a faulty air conditioner unit. This unit was fitted with a prototype air con unit that took power directly from the 750v juice rail instead of 315v onboard system. This unit had problems with the unique air con unit for the last few years and the decision was made by SWT to take the unit off lease so Angel Trains would do something about it. They did and Ma' Scanlon was out again a few weeks later albeit with diffulculties and some failures along the way.



2417 Woking Homes stands at Poole on March 29th 2004 with a service for Waterloo. Woking Homes are a Residential Home for the elderly, who have railway or other transport related backgrounds, or their spouses. Also a small percentage of non-railway are also cared for. 2417 was named for the ties that Woking Homes have with the railway industry. 2417 went to into storage at Eastleigh on January 19th 2007.



2418 Wessex Cancer Trust sits at Poole with a service to Waterloo. After a short spell of one end of of 2418 residing with 2413, 2418 is currently one whole unit and is stored at Bournemouth.



2419 BBC South Today at Eastleigh on March 31st 2006 with a slow service to Waterloo. This unit was de-named on January 9th 2007 by Sally Taylor the anchor for the BBC's South Today program, and sent for storage at Eastleigh on February 12th 2007.



2420 City of Southampton sits in the reception sidings at Poole awaiting its next turn of service. This was stored at Eastleigh on January 24th 2007.



The third and final unnamed Wessex Electric is 2421 seen here in charge of the 07:40 Weymouth - Waterloo on August 23rd 2006. this entered Eastleigh for storage on January 26th 2007.

2422 Operation Overlord in more recent times on a Waterloo - Weymouth service. This entered storage at Eastleigh on January 19th 2007.



2423 County of Surrey with 2408 on the rear passes through Parkstone station on October 21st 2006 with a service from Waterloo - Poole.



2424 Gerry Newson prepares to leave Poole on March 06th 2006 with a 10 car service to Waterloo. The unit was named Gerry Newson after a railwayman and fitter at Bournemouth depot. it entered storage at Stewarts Lane and NOT Eastleigh after coming back from its C6 in unbranded white at Ilford on February 8th 2007.
