Wareham Down Main Renewal 05th March 2005
The fourth week of works between Hamworthy and Wool.Due to other commitments I was unable to get any night shots but heres a couple of what came through on Sunday afternoon.
66122 approaches Poole with a Brand new New track construction machine. So new infact that it was the first time its been used. They liked it so much its coming back for the 5 week of works.
The wagon behind the loco gets uncoupled then the items on top of the wagon "fold out" to enable the little box like cab to work up and down the train moving concrete sleepers into place. For more info visit Harsco Track Technologie's site.
66095 (yet another kop for me) waits for permission to leave the possession. Although the work was at Wareham, the possession has started for the past 4 weeks at Poole. The train had an empty rake of Network Rail JNA's
