Wareham Station up line renewal May 13th 2007

This was the second of three blockades between Poole & Wool centralised around the Wareham area. The first lot of work was complete renewal of the up line through Wareham Station. This second lot of work was the continuation of that work.
All the photos were taken with a 5 second exposure setting using my Sony R1 with a tripod. These were photographed in RAW format and then after being transferred to the computer and sharpened each one had the colour temperature settings edited, they were then saved as a high quality JPEG where further sharpening of the photo was undertaken and finally resized to 777x518.

66008 waits in platform 2 for permission to enter the possession with the 6Z29 20:21 Eastleigh Yard - Poole, as 444010 has just terminated in platform 1 with a service from Waterloo. The time was 23:50. The consist was around 28 loaded ZBA's of ballast and 3 OCA/OBA's. Not pictured but I have it on video is Tamping machine DR73928 coming into Poole on the up line and running down to Wareham via the reception sidings.

66024 which arrived at 01:10 am shot in raw but converted to black & White. This was the 6Z30 22:07 Eastleigh Yard to Poole.

66024 looking from the back of the loco to the start of the possession. In the consist were some KWA well wagons, OBA/OCA's and some concrete sleeper wagons.

My only loco kop for the evening was 66050 seen about 01:40 on Sunday morning. This was the 6Z31 23:31 Eastleigh Yard to Poole. In the consist were 15 loaded MHA side tipping ballast wagons.

Also to my surprise as I could not think why the photo I took of the MHA's looked so yellow ( not only due to the light) but because a rake of 5 of these were actually in Network Rail Yellow livery and I didnt click (Well its nearly 01:45 when I took this shot) MHA301313 is the first one in this shot.

66056 arrived just outside the possession at 01:53 with a rake of 15 empty JNA falcons. These wagons will take the old ballast away. The train was the 00:29 6Z32 Eastleigh Yard to Poole.

The final train of the night was the 00:59 Eastleigh Yard to Poole. This arrived at 02:15 behind 66139 and consisted of a rake of 7 JNA Falcons, 2 KWA well wagons loaded with Bulldozers, 3 more OCA/OBA's and a rake of flat wagons for carrying the old track panels. On the back of this was 66238. 66238 took the first train out of the possession (which was this one). This left Poole at around 10:37 on Sunday morning, some 2 hours early.
