Wednesday June 29th 2011 - Steamie Weed Killer
450022 sits in the carriage sidings at Poole after arriving with a Waterloo - Poole service.
A suprise for me was DR98908 & DR98958 passing through with the 6Z05 Eastleigh RC - Eastleigh RC via Weymouth Weedkilling train.
DR98908 passes 450022 with the 6Z05 Eastleigh RC - Eastleigh RC via Weymouth Weed killer express :).
Two shots of 444019 & 444016 passing each other at Sterte.
444031 passes through Sterte Cutting with a Weymouth - Waterloo via Winchester service.
Stanier 8-F Class 2-8-0 48151 "Gauge O Guild" runs tender first with two support coaches on the 5Z95 Southall FSS - Swanage ecs positioning move. I took a number of photographs but this one was the best out of the bunch really.
Saturday June 25th 2011 - Thump Tastic
444026 sits in the carriage sidings at Poole as it awaits its next run to Waterloo.
444021 passes 444026 with a Weymouth - London Waterloo service.
Preserved Hasting Diesel unit 1001 enters the cutting at Sterte with the return leg of the 1Z97 Swanage - Hastings Dorset Diadem tour.
Forty six years seperates the two designs of these units. 1001 passes 444026.
Sunday June 19th 2011 - Sunday Morning ECS
DBS 67022 draws out of the carriage sidings at Poole with the 5Z74 Poole CS - Eastleigh T&RSMD ecs.
The 67 was used on Pathfinders Canterbury Tornado tour the previous day. Ironic that the locomotive displays a St Georges flag. The loco was designed in Canada, Built in Spain, Runs in the UK and is owned by a German company.
Saturday June 11th 2011 - Slim Jim
33207 Jim Martin, sits on "10" road in the old goods yard, whilst waiting for 34067 to return with a tour from Cardiff.
