The new order around on the Waterloo - Weymouth and Portsmouth routes. Class 450 and 444 Desiros. These are replacing the slam door stock. Here 450016 leaves platform 3 with a Brighton to Basingstoke service.

66127 pulls away from a crew change at Eastleigh with the Southampton Eastern docks - Washwood Heath with empty Bogie Double Deck Car Carriers.

Becoming more of a frequent visitor to the Eastleigh area GBrailfreight livried 66715 was parked up all day opposite platform 3. These will be more visible as a batch of Class 73's have been painted into GBRf livery for Southern region infrastructure work.

Again another more frequent visitor visiting the Eastleigh area are EWS's Class 67's. Having been ousted from the Royal Mail Duties (Due to the Royal mails scrapping of Mail by Rail), The 67's are seeing work in Freight, Charter and Special trains. Earlier in the Week this 67 was allocated the 6W65 Eastleigh - Furzebrook empty LPG's tanks. 67017 passes 66715 at Eastleigh.

Another shot of 67017. This was to lead the Eastleigh - Wembley enterprise service doubleheaded with a class 66. A nice photo opportunity further up the line for people indeed.
