The last Class 444 Desiro to be delivered into this country for Southwest Trains, 444001 leaves platform 2 @ Poole for the carriage sidings whilst on test with Siemens.

Having arrived at Didcot its not long until the freight starts rolling through. 57005 on a very short intermodal bound for Southampton.
The last 507 refurbished unit to leave Eastleigh works before it closes later this year was 507033 hauled by 67017, seen here undergoing a crew change on the avoiding line at Didcot.

Two shots of 66237. This was hauling the first 3 wagons from New Track Construction Machine (see the engineering pages in the Poole gallery for more info). This went down the Portsmouth line to the rear of Eastleigh's stabling point entrance and ran through the stabling point thus turning the train round, and being the correct position to enter the proposed engineering works over the weekend.
