Other Places
Apart from some of the main areas I have visited listed in the other BR Years Galleries there have been various other places around the UK that I have visited. These range from Crewe, Carlisle, Reading and Colchester (of all places) So here are a few of the better pictures.

We start off with one of my all time favorite photos. I was casually leaning out of the window of a Paddington bound DMU admiring the view and whilst being very careful as to not get "me noggin" knocked off when I heard a horn. I turned round and saw this HST traveling at a fast rate of knot's on the London up fast line, so by the time I managed to get my camera out of my pocket and snap a shot of the HST, it had virtually past us by. To this day this has been my favorite photo.

An unidentified Executive livery Class 47 on an unidentified service stops at Reading around 1988.

253053 Pauses at Reading around 1988.

47454 about to leave Reading with a service for Poole.

During a Network Southeast day, basicly where you could pay £1.00 to travel anywhere with in the Network Southeast Network a trip was hatched to travel to Colchester to see some of the Anglian traction. Mainly Stratford based 37's 47's and 86's here 37001 stands at Colchester stabling point.

Ok Ok I admit the day got the better of me and I took a picture of a coach. Hey I don't have anything in my defense your honor!!!! Oh and the executive 86!!!

An overall shot of some 47's and 83's I believe at Crewe.

A pair of 83's at Carlisle in the mid 80's.

A pair of Executive 86's head a Freightliner Intermodal train into Carlisle in the mid 80's.

25313 Carlisle.

Two shots of 86401 a long way from its normal stomping grounds of Euston - Northampton runs. This is Carlisle!!!

86421 London School of Economics in Executive livery and an unidentified class 86 enter Carlisle.

Two shots of D200 (40122) @ Carlisle.

1995 and I am at Folkstone awaiting the commencement of my first ever trip abroad to France via coach through the channel tunnel. A Eurostar passes us enroute to France.

Having had to leave all my mates on the coach behind us and to get on this coach mid journey through the tunnel.... long story ... I snapped this shot from the back of the coach as we were leaving the terminal on our way to Paris some 5 hours later. I went to France with my best mate and his girlfriend to see Jean Michel Jarre play a concert under the Eiffel Tower in Paris as part of the Bastille Day Celebrations in July 1995.

Calais this time on the way back to England as a Eurotunnel loco leaves the tunnel complex to enter Calais as we prepare to enter the tunnel.
