Two shots from what I believe was the second mans window in the class 56 of a visiting Railfreight 47.
A site that will never be seen at Eastleigh again. the final picture from the last open day I visited.Steam loco motive S15 # 828 is in steam for the first time since preservation.
An unidentified 33/1 speeds north through Eastleigh on an unidentified inter-regional working.
Another unidentified 33/1 pulls away from a stop at Eastleigh with a nuclear waste train from Wool in Dorset. This is the only picture I have a the Nuclear waste workings. Note the Guard at the back of the guards van.
Yet another unidentified 33/1 with 2 4TC untis in tow entering the stabling point at Eastleigh. Unit 417 i closest to the camera. The 4TC's were non powered coaches with a cab at either end of the 4 coaches. I once had the pleasure of travelling from Poole - Waterloo being pushed by a 73 with a 12 car formation (3x 4TC) usually it would be 8 car TC (2xClass 491) plus a 4 Rep to supply the juice but unfortunately the train what I had traveled on the Rep unit had failed at Bournemouth after it had arrived on the previous working so a 73 pushing all the way on Juice power was a rare treat for me!!!!
33049 stabled in one of the sidings at Eastleigh adjacent to the Portsmouth running lines.
33114 Sultan sits at the north end of platform 3 at Eastleigh with a |corporate blue 47 in the background.
Large logo 73/0 73006 on what looks to be newspaper empties enters the top end of platform 3 at Eastleigh.

Another shot of the trio of 47's including a class 33/0 to boot as well.
On a trip to Eastleigh in the 90's saw this line up of stored 33's around the back of the stabling point. Over the years this has seen storage of 37's, 73's, 56's 47's 08' and 33's as well as the 58's.
